Is there a partial lockout after the Carlton - Richmond match of Thursday night.

With all the uncertainty about which rookies are playing round 1 will we have the option to make changes after the Thursday game or are we locked in?

My issue with a loophole in the first round is though; does this mean other teams can see every other team in the league before full lockout?

hmmmm, good question. I would hope they hide the teams until the full lockout.

i was under the idea it was full lockout Thursday night, must of read the rule wrong, just means the site will crash Thursday ha

Warnie said on the AFL Fantasy Podcast that there's a partial lock-out for the Richmond/Carlton. Full Lock-out is 1.40pm AESDT on Saturday before the Melbourne and GWS game.

We won't know final teams for the Hawks and Geelong game until after lock-out...
Does that mean no one goes with whats-his-name the Hawks defender at 200ish?

No. I traded on Friday and copped a 0 for round 1.

Was your full team completed before Thursday?

Thousands of coaches have finished the round with zero points. FanHub have said it's because teams weren't fully completed prior to the partial lockout which is nonsense.

This was in an email to me on Monday:

Hi,
This is just to let you know that as you picked your team during an active round it was not eligible to score points, but still impacted by the increase in player prices at the end of the round. As a result, your team value has increased beyond the salary cap allowance. You will need to make some changes to your team to bring it under the salary cap before the next round in order to enter a valid team and score points.
If you do not do this before the start of the next round, your team will remain in breach of the cap and score zero points.
Good luck!

Rubbing salt into the wounds.

Leave your team as is until Friday in hope that they actually fix their issue for us. If it's still not fixed and they don't do anything for us then you won't be able to start with your round 1 side and will have to downgrade players to fit under the cap.
