Nice to see the out pouring of support for Tom given that not 10 days ago most people were asking for him to be delisted.

Such fickle supporters on this board

First, I don't think most people were calling for him to be delisted.

Second, even if they were, there is nothing fickle about wishing a guy who's suffered a horrific injury while playing for our club a speedy and full recovery, regardless of what some may think of his prospects and talent as a player.

Earlier this year that would have been the call and it was right. But even before the injury we all saw enough in that game to know he could play at this level.

Don't need to get angry. They didnt no he had a screwed up kidney, im sure if they could have it back and they knew what was wrong they wouldnt have said it. Just relax a little.

I am sure they realised he was in a lot of pain. They had just seen him back into a pack and get poleaxed and stay down after the hit (I thought he had busted some ribs). And then he was trying to jog off but kept stopping and starting because of pain which was obvious in his facial expressions. Basically the comment was said with out putting the brain in gear which is done by all of us but he did it on camera.

glad I wasn't in any of those threads but to be honest those comments were all on when bomber played him up forward and that put him in the same category as Kingsley, charlie, playfair, mccarthey and nablett as tall forwards not performing. However in the backline on saturday he looked good (and apparently has so in the vfl as well) and may have found his career reignited alongside scarlett, harley and egan. He actually marked the ball better down back than up forward for some reason?

What is the relevance to him getting seriously injured?

I am sure every Geelong supporter feels bad for him right now no matter what they have thought of him in the past.

im not bagging any poster or naming any poster, just pointing out that there were calls for him to be delisted after only his 5th or 6th game.
