A while back I was watching Conan O'Brien and the featured band was Chicago. They played one of their classic tunes, 25 or 6 to 4.
The band was formed in early 1967, so currently is in its 43rd year - and has been together continuously in that time I believe.
It still has four of its original seven members - Bobby Lamm, Walt Parazaider, Lee Loughnane and James Pankow. Of the other three, Peter Cetera left in the mid 80s, Danny Seraphine was asked to leave in 1990 and Terry Kath somehow managed to shoot himself in the late 70s.
What other bands around match their longevity? Especially those who have basically stayed together for their entire existence.
