Just wanted your views as to how long he will be at the club. Haselby has recently said he hopes to play until 28ish, which would be sad. I would have thought the fact JL cant get his knee right may have a similar effect on his career.

This would be sad as he is a great dockers man. However with sandilands emergence, he moves to number two ruck. Warnock is coming through (slowly) and would eventually be a better prospect as he wouldnt need to be carried through games.

1. Has he had or is there not a surgery he can have?
2. After current contract (long term i know) would he be on a games played incentive based contract?
3.with his decreased mobility, and knee, would he be better used as an impact player to rest sandi. Instead of resting and crowding the forward line?

If Haselby doesnt make it past 28, then the club has let him down.
For years now we have watched as his injury's have been poorly managed.

Longmuir may just be a bit of a Kosi, forever niggled by injury and merely never be all we thought he could have been.

Hasleby hurt his back playing country football in Northampton before we drafted him. It was pretty well known at the time that he wouldn't be playing past 30. Not so much mismanagement by us. His groin was probably a sympton of his back, but I'm sure we've done everything we can for that area.

Make or break season for Longys knee IMO.

Hagdorn reported yesterday that Warnock has been earmarked to play up to half of season 2007's premiership games.

This may be an indication that JLo is really struggling?

Justin Struggled all 2006.

Could be an indication that "Sticks" has really come on .

You're right about Longmuir struggling last year, but his knees could have got worse or they have realised that he is never going to be close to 100%. Is he contracted until the end of 2008 or 2009? I've got a feeling it's '09. :o

Warnock is ready to go IMO, but I can't see Longmuir, Sandilands and Warnock in the 22 at the same time. It didn't work with Simmonds, who is much more flexible than Sandilands and Warnock.

I am as excited about seeing Warnock play as I am dissapointed that JLo is having such a hard time. The ups and downs of footy I guess.

I was really surprised to hear that they are penciling in Warnock for up to half the season, I hope he is ready for it.

And I think you are right Dom, I would be very surprised if Warny and JLo play in the same team more than a couple of times this year.

Neither can I, I reckon they are going to try to easy Justin through the year a bit.

There were a couple of times last year when He shouldn't have played (e.g. the Roo's game) when We had no other option, but gritted his teeth and did an all right job on one leg.

It could not have helped His recovery too much.

I can see them resting Justin when We play at TD or anywhere the surface is a bit of a risk.

It's all good.
