Today I was thinking to myself where will the MFC be in 5 years? where will we be on the ladder? who from our team now will still be around? who will retire? leave? will we win/ Challenge for a premiership? Think about that one.

I think that with a bit of luck we will be in a similar position to where Hawthorn or Carlton are now. We have the best <20 forward in the land, and a bunch of exciting midfielders coming through. Brock McLean and Nathan Jones will be in their prime, fair to say that McLean could very well be skipper. I'm just sick of losing games, can't wait till the good times come boy will they be sweet. Success is cyclical, we have bottomed out (2008) and now it should be all uphill from now. Go Dees.

Jimmy will still be prez and we will be 156 years old, thats about all that is certain. You'd hope we are playing finals by then.
