I hope we don't win another game in 2003.
So what can we get out of winning matches. Nothing. We can not make the eight so why win games when we have an oppurtunity to use the AFL rules to our advantage and throw the rest of the season, Rest the injured while playing the kids. Pick up a top 2 draft pick and a priotiy draft pick and rebound for next season.
2002 was a desaster.
But 2001 we weren't that far away. With 2 picks in the top ten in the draft up for grabs I would be happy to see us lose the every game for the rest of the season. What do you all think of that. It makes a lot of sense when you consider our salary cap problems.
First get someone who will pick the right kids. Maybe we should vote for CJH at the next AGM.
Bring on 2003 fast.

) and I'd like to see them do better next year. It'd be really good if Carlton and Richmond were in the 8 next year, for we'd get 80,000 to the gates easily, and it'd be a slog-out! Richmond and Carlton matches always have that extra zing of emotion, due to our rich history as rivals. It would be great for the competition if these two teams started dominating again like in the 70's.
