Aftert the loss to the eagles ive given up on season 2008 even if we make the finals its just a waste of time. if you cant beat weak teams like west coast whats the use playing finals football.

exactly. as soon as we step out of victoria, we are as bad as any team going around it seems. if we cant win the so called easy games like that, all it is, is false hope after more false hope

Season 2008 is over for everyone as of last night, Teams 2-8 are just making up the numbers.

This is going to make my week shit now :thumbsd:
Think i'm going to start slapping $10 on the opposition every week.At least when we lose i get a nice cash reward.:thumbsu:
Could've had $50.

Yeah, again i told me mum to put 10 bucks on WC, 'noo michael dun waste your moneh'

Shit, if we won I wouldnt mind losing the cash, but at least if we lost I can be like...'beers on me tonight!'

:(

No way ..... there are 5 or 6 teams in the eight who dont have soft thoughts like that.

Geelong has this in the bag. No way teams 5-8 will beat them. They're too up and down.
Geelong flogged your mob in the space of 1 qtr without Ablett and Ling.
They beat Hawthorn after playing average footy all night.

Don't get me wrong the dogs are a very good side but Geelong are in another league.

this is just one game and we lost without maxy who got injured in the first 10 mins of the game. even though we lsot, there is still a month to regain good form, don't lose faith just yet

We lost to bloody West Coast who played the worst west coast team i've ever seen on paper (no exaggeration). That's a shocking effort.

I'm not going to troll by commenting on the result of this game. What I will say is that your players just look so unhappy. Not sure if it is the game style or what, but there is just no fire in their bellies, even when they are up.

Whatever it was us supporters deserved better than that weak as piss unspirited effort. Like i said, give the ****ing Moorabin U12's a go.

I can empathise guys. A dark day for us all. It's not often that top 4 spots just wait for a club to claim them. The problem is, it seems our clubs don't want it.

Very very true one of the most incomplete teams fielded by wce today more then half their team was out. To think i lost 10 bucks to my neighbour and our bet was made after we were up by 20 absoultely rediculous. Whats next we lose to port then dockers then back in the 9/10 positions. So typical of St Kilda to finally look like they wil repay the faith then bring us back to earth and crush us. Not acceptable

****ing hell this makes me really really nervous against Port Adelaide next week. they'll be coming off 2 in a row after tommorow.

Next Sunday will give us some more answers. No need to give up just after one game.

Dropping Micheal Gardiner for Kosi will be a good start.

yep definitely now ive calmed down realised hopefully just a wakeup call that we cant be complacent and things can go wrong. just gotta rebound this weekend and do better in 2 weeks when were back in "shit city". (by that i hope u just refer to subi not perth because its quite a lovely place might i add:p)

I wouldn't say I've lost all faith, but then I considered this less of a gimme than most. We've always had a tendency to struggle when the heavy favourite.

A lot went wrong. West Coast played unbelievably well, and we were sluggish. Kosi's bull**** suspension hurt, and Gardiner just isn't up to playing in the forward line any more. This meant we were even more Riewoldt-centric, and he was quickly double-teamed and restricted. His kicking for goal didn't help either.

Ordinary ground conditions didn't help, we're too accustomed to Phone Dome and so do have a tendency to struggle in slick conditions, not to mention Maxy going down early really hurt us. We had no key backs for the majority of the game, and were murdered by the hands in the back interpretation.

A lot of that was unavoidable, and I think we can bounce back. But then, I'm sadly accustomed to losses like this.

I am TIRED of the Saints inconsistency. I'm a Blues supporter and they frustrate even me. They've also lost me a combined total of $400 for the year at the Tab. I'm actually banned from my local after throwing a glass at the TV because of Gardiner being so f*cking useless. Jesus christ, how do you guys cope? FFS!
