On behalf on all Carlton members and supporters, I would like to thank all the well wishes and thread starters since our pre-season cup victory. It has been fantastic to see so many people are interested in our club and and helping us keep our emotions and expectations in check.

Thanks guys, I really hope the playing list is reading all these comments that are being posted because if they don't, they will definitely finish last. Hopefully, by taking the advise of so many learned individuals the club will not go over the top in their celebrations (LIKE GEELONG LAST YEAR, did you enjoy the party boys, got you a long way didn't it?) and focus on the real task, being ready for round 1.

In all seriousness, I am loving all the abuse, its great to see that you feel the need to bag us and try to bring us down. Apart from a very small minority, the majority of Carlton fans are happy to see improvement on the field but are well aware that it is just the pre-season and the real work begins in 2 weeks.

But in the meantime, keep the abuse coming, whatever works for you becuase we are loving the fact that you feel the need to do it :D

Actually I was impressed that the players were told not to celebrate at all and most of them said that right away their focus went to Round 1. The talk about Round 1 being the focus has been enormous.

I wonder if they've planned for Round 2 onwards... :p

I was super impressed with Carlton over the NAB Cup.

They beat quality sides such as Brisbane, Essendon, Kangaroos and Hawthorn.

They unearthed Bryce Gibbs who averaged an impressive 5 possessions.

They could even afford to rest their premier talent such as Bannister and Teague.

All signs are positive for the Blues :thumbsu:

I hope you guys are focusing on round 2 onwards :D , underrate us at your peril, haha:rolleyes:

In all seriousness it was sensational to see players, officials and supporters taking the win for what it was, a pre-season win. At least we didn't hold a massive party like it was actually important, that would just make you look stupid wouldn't it Cats fans.

I don't need to be told twice.

You cheating, spoon wielding Carlton scum are once again March heroes and will be proven to be the downhill skiers that you really are.

How's that for starters?:D

Not bad, nothing to new there though, would've thought you could've come up with something a bit original, but then you're a feral so we shouldn't expect miracles :thumbsu:

I was actually expecting a Ninthmond or 25 year rabble comeback, but you gave me the feral call so I'll give you points for trying. I spose you have no original material either, just love basking in the sun that shines out of your arse. Typical Carlton supporter;)

Ouch. Isn't it funny, out of the last four sides to get through, North, Brisbane and Carlton are all favourites for the bottom four. Mind you, they were the only teams stupid to take the comp seriously.

All the signs are pointing to another two wins over Melbourne this year, too.

I don't think it has been said enough. I would rather Carlton go out and party for a full week, but even Fevola probably hasn't touched a beer.

Ah, good call mate...enjoying the pay back I imagine...the first month of footy in the real season will tell if it was all worth it....round 2 perhaps...

Yeah, very good call, given the position of the 2 teams and the expectations, it is a game that you should win, i'd be very happy to pinch that one off you. If we are going to win 8 games this year it will be one we need to get, but given you are expecting to play finals it would be much more disappointing for guys if you lost, a win for us is a bonus.

If all else fails,we can chalk in wins against your mob......

After all, Melbourne are our b1tch
