With the way they remake every single TV show, comic book and movie, the only generation divide is if you mean Adam West as Batman or Christian Bale when you say Batman.

Adam West every day of the week

Michael Keaton anyone??

But srsly - it has to be Adam West...

Aaaaaah Michael Keaton.

Who is Adam West? Is he the old school 'Thwaaack!' 'Boooom!' Slaaaammm!' guy?

Yes, the Thwaaaack! the Slaaaam! and also the shark repellant spray.

It may be blasphemous for someone of my age but I reckon Christian Bale has nailed it.

Blasphemous? Hardly. Christian Bale and Adam West were given two very different takes on the same character. I can't imagine the Adam West Batman having quite the widespread family appeal in the 60's if he was stomping crackheads - hippies maybe? - and acting surly with everyone.

Robin: "Holy toledo Batman! What are we gonna do?"
Adam West as Christian Bale as Batman: "Grrrr"
Robin: "Batman?..."
Adam West as Christian Bale as Batman: "Grrrrrr... Grrrr... Grr"
Robin: "Ummm... Okay how about we just climb up the side of this building? That usually works."
Adam West as Christian Bale as Batman: "Grrrrrrrrrrr"

Isn't that George Clooney?

Yes it is! I always thought Keaton was Batnipples, but it was Clooney. Wow. Apologies to Michael Keaton.

On that note I would go:

1. Bale
2. Keaton
3. West
4. Kilmer
5. Clooney

West just edging Kilmer for nostalgic purposes. Just. West fought like he was having a stroke though; very un-Batman like.

I use to LOVE Batman Forever.. then i watched it about 6 months ago and couldnt believe how childish the dialogue and storyline was, i was embarrassed for 15yo me...

but anyway.. i digress

Rubbish, i just watched a 2010 game where we beat Sydney in Sydney. Fyfe was essentially non-existent. He turned the ball over and was fairly useless in congestion. He showed glimpses but nothing better than Neale showed. I was amazed watching that game that its the same player, the difference between 2010 and 2011 is astonishing. Can't wait to see what he can produce in 2013. We might see a big step up from Neale, Sutcliffe, Sheridan, Crozier or even Forster (provided he's injury free). I actually believe Duffy will be the surprise packet, he's essentially the same age as the aforementioned and had a better season than most in the WAFL.

Just because you "Watched" Something doesn't mean you have the capacity to see anything, that depends on your skills.

Most would agree Fyfe showed he could mark balls most others would fumble and that he had a good leap on him. Was he OMFG THE NEXT BUCKLEY, no, but he showed something special about him that made you realize he had talent. Hill and Morabito were similar to Fyfe, in that they showed something special early on.

Neale, Sutcliffe, Sheridan? Not nearly as much. Everyone hopes their first round pick will be great but look at someone like Pitt... not everyone will turn into something great and someone has to be accountable for that. Just like how Fremantle chose someone like Suban over Mitch Robinson, our picks aren't going to be perfect even if you had someone like me with high IQ picking for them. Unfortunately humans aren't entirely predictable which is why choosing talent first and working on "Work ethic" is a better route than the reverse. You just need the right people at the club to _enforce_ work ethic and a standard.

Fyfe got two Brownlow votes that day. You have **** all idea of what you're talking about.

ha ha, I was looking for info on lower as he is probably going to the digs, but this is much more entertaining.

He will be a perfect fit as he likes shoveling it out.
