just curious to find out current situation in regards to his contract, i know there was some rumors going around, he would look good in our midfield and would definitely help out our midfield.. would the sainters possibly trade him?

Your thoughts

Seems to have gone backwards, thought Fridays game would have suited him to a tea being a hard contested game but only played average for mine.
May be worth a look but only for a 2nd rounder and fringe player at best.

Don't think they will trade him but if they did they will ask for too much. So no chance of him at Collingwood next year

Yeah I know alot of people like the idea of getting Ball but his injury history really rules him out for mine. Would prefer to charge on with our current mids or target a Tuck or Harris - preferably the former.

but with tuck there is a reason why two other clubs delisted him, if u know what i mean, but one thing we need to recuirt is a genuine midfield don't get me wrong we got swan and co but i just think we need that someone else...

I'd love him for a second round pick.

At one stage I considered him their best mid. His toughness in big games in the past has been outstanding.

I really don't know what has happened to him under Lyon but I think dropping him was just part of the development plan rather than an indication that he is going to be traded.

or even a Coughlan could come into the equation.... it would be a risk...but who knows what would happen if he get a full pre-season under his belt (for once)...

pre-injury, COughlan was better than a Tuck at his best; but the risk is clear, if we take Coughlan, there is every chance that we won't get a game out of him..

what we need is someone who can get their hands on the ball first; got a feeling that 2010 wouldn't be our time YET... so i guess we'll definitely roll the dice with Blair as well in this position.... let's hope this star at VFL level can shine at the AFL level as well unlike Stanley
