Not to mention that Ch. 9 had Luke up on stage while they gave Mummy's Boy all his prizes, so Luke had to clap like he cared. Then, almost as an afterthought, they gave Luke his consolation prize - a Sony TV and set-top box.

Yes, Dixie. I saw it that way a lot of arrogance having our Luke pushed to the background. IMO he was far better and that is not sour grapes.
Of course a player from a single team in a big city was going to outvote another of a Melbourne team sharing a city with so many other AFL clubs.
Poor voting set-up if you ask me. Only watched TFS because it was the Grand Final show ... generally I never switch onto the rubbish.

Unfortunately these sorts of competitions are all to do with the telecommunications and television companies making big profits, and nothing to do with judging talent.
IMO, Luke deserved to be in the final and to win it.

Look on the bright side - at least Eddie wo'n be able to say he is financially 'helping' the 'cash-strapped' hawks.
