Now i along with many others thought that this kid was a project player. Give him 2-3years and he'll be elevated after he has has time to develop his game and frame.

BUT watching him against Frankston he looked like he could be ready for our senior list next year!

When u look at our list there will be plenty of space in the next few yrs with Milburn, Sando, Graham, Riccardi all coming to the end of the road career wise and players like Mark Blake, Matty Spencer(no offense, great kid) who havent shown much at all.

All though all this is based on 2-3 strong performances the last half of the season will determine wat will happen.

Would any one else draft him if he rufuses another rookie contract?

Any Comments???

Just had a quick look at his Stats on the Geelong site , they have him as 188 & 75. Now this was probably a while ago but if we compare him to the players who are probably competing for the position he would be after

Milburn 187 & 89
Enright -186 & 89
Rooke - 189 & 84

He looks light. What is he doing and against what type of oponent is he playing. Is he playing as a tall small or a medium?.Is he grabing some Kenny Hinkley marks?Does he create run or stay home?
I think the Cats have one maybe two positions for this format of player in the backline. One if Mooney plays back there. At the moment he is 10kg/15kg shy to hold ground against mature opponents. If he continues to progress , good, it will make choice's at the end of next year easier.

He is currently 190cms and 83kgs. He has mainly been playin on smaller opponents mainly because of his frame but showed last year at Falcons and Early this year he can also play tall. He was very reserved at the start of the year in terms of running off but has been creating well lately. He hasnt taken many contested marks but again i think that is a confidence thing.
