I heard he tested for them and they passed on him.

Perhaps they had reservations with his shoulders, not sure.

Yes Ive read that he definately trialled with them. Seems one of the good tall prospects so Im wondering if he is a chance to get to Melbournes pick 32.

Does he have any weaknesses other than his shoulder injuries?

Does 1 shoulder injury equate to chronic shoulder injuries?

I believe he hurt his shoulder at the start of this year, but tested for the Gold Coast last year? so maybe there was another reason they didnt take him?

From what i saw at games this year there dont seem to be any related injury issues. Can anyone advise otherwise?

be very interested if the tigers were looking at him with Reiwoldt and Griffiths ... adding Mitchell would make a very potent forwardline IMO (providing griffiths doesn't keep injuring himself)

would be sound recruiting

Also suns didnt see him worthy of listing & gave him a load of reasons & things he needs to work on.

I'm not saying this will happen to luke but every year there are players considered to be mony's to get selected in the top 20-30 that get overlooked altogether & generally they are tall kpp such as Temel,Panos,Gourdis etc

You just never know.

the suns said he was a bit slow, thing is he still dominated finals in TAC as a 17 year old so i wouldn't have thought i was going to be that great a problem... i read today that he has picked up a decent amount of speed, would be an excellent pick up

The shoulder wasn't an issue back then was it? The injury happened in Feb this year.

On footy ability, Mitchell should go within the first 30. Whether he interviewed as well is a question I guess...
