He was a physical CHF/CHB, about 193cm. He had a shocking run with injuries, was dropped of the list and made a rookie then after another bad injury run was dropped altogether. Rivers and Miller's form didn't help him either, also with Nick Smith (another injury plagued youngster) on the list the club probably felt there wasn't room for both of them.
Real pity, I thought he'd eventually make it, but he was unable to get a full season under his belt and struggled to find any type of form.

Interesting.
I'm sure you wouldn't be too unhappy give Rivers was a great 2nd round pick and Millers a bargain late pick, but its always a bit disspoainting when you have hiogh draft pick players not deliver.
Dylan SMith for us has been the most obvious recent cangidate, although Ash Watson (2001 draft pick 14) has not cracked, and whilst he continues to have good VFL form is struggling to break into a strong midfield group, especially as he's small.

I remember being really excited on the morning of Draft Day 2001. But when I heard we had picked up Molan, I was shattered. Most predicted him to go in the 25-40 range... I couldn't believe we picked him at 9!!!
