plays for spotswood in the wrfl.
have seen him a few times , currently is injured.. saw him before a spotswood game couple of weeks back smoking n that , i know hes injured but still...cops a huge amount of stick about the superdraft and that from all the rest of the wrfl teams and supporters. but to his credit when he tries he looks 10 times better than any forward in the league. thats WHEN he actually tries but.

Just thinking of what we missed makes your heart break.... imagine Dal Santo in the red&blue
and Miller; if we held off for 3 picks, we would have Dane Swan instead.

tigers know how it feels that for sure, its devistating for the supporters seeing somehow the good one goes to another club and you get stuck with the mediocre one.:(

Some of you blokes are giving him a hard time he was a super U/18 player and unfortunately he copped some bad injuries which hindered his development and eventually saw him delisted.

Have a few mates at Spotswood and they say his attitude his excellent he has become very involved in the club. Injuries have only let him play a handful of games but is back this week for a top of the table clash and even then he volunterred to come back through the 2's as he didn't want to upset anyone.

Yes, unfortunately for himself, Melbourne footy club and their supporters he didn't go and develop as all were hoping, the quality of person he is cannot be questioned

It's safe to say we did the worst out of the 'Superdraft'

Yep, our annus horribilus.

Our picks were:

9 = Luke Molan
25 = Steven Armstrong
26 = Aaron Rogers
55 = Brad Miller

Aints picked Dal Santo at 13
Hawks picked Mitchell at 36
Eagles picked Hanson at 38

Other names we could have picked are:

Brent Reilly
James Kelly
Matt Maquire
Steve Johnson
Leigh Montagna
Dane Swan

All being my best of the rest. Not saying we would have got all of them but imagine having Dal Santo, Mitchell and Hanson all playing in the Red & the Blue.

Isn't hindsight a wonderful thing.

Good luck to him then, I just presumed he had a bad attitude otherwise the club would stick with such a promising kid despite injuries, but it sounds like he is still has injuries so he must have some of the worst luck.
