Lupe Fiasco's 'The Cool'

Has anyone checked out his new album? I bought it the other day and I'm officially blown away. I'm fairly fussy with rappers, but this guy is one of only a handful where I'd buy their albums.

I love Kanye but this guy tops him. Has the flow of Biggie, the spark of Kanye, but the skill and a message that is unparalleled by anything I've heard recently. Really positive message that is delivered impeccably.

Anyway, I saw a few people listing 'Superstar' in their Hottest 100 Top 10, so I figured he was known round here.

just giving it a listen now. so far so good. I havent listened to alot of rap music for a number of years now but this feels like a breath of fresh air.

everyone in the hiphop community worldwide either loves or at least respects this guy, and it's no wonder given 'food and liquor' (his first album) and now 'the cool'
