If I ever start a U2 tribute band I will call it "Shamu the mysterious whale" - on a similar vein of mammalian confusion there is always the classic Go Gos "Alex the Seal [ie Our lips are sealed] There was a GO GOs cover band called "Alex the Seal"

I always get that line wrong... so i usually go something like "In his da da let ev de dum"

Knew a guy who got confused with "RATM - Renegades of Funk" singing instead of (we're the renegades of funk) it was (when a redhead wants a ********).

There are plenty of others just can't think right now... when i was younger i used to sing (Nobody told me there'd be days like these) as (nobody told me there'd be blackies) was never the same song after reading the lyrics

I recommend listening to the second one, it's not as stupid as it looks in text form
