Ok, here's the 411.

I'm currently on my first car(Chrysler Neon, probably the most awkward car ever built) and in the next 6 to 12 months I'm going to be looking at buying a car(IE, getting rid of the Neon, Buying another)

Alot of my friends have(and have had) various models of Magna's, and I've been impressed with them. Last night, I had a drive of my mates TJ Series 2 Advance Magna, and I didn't want to climb into anything else.

And the review on drive.com.au talks up the Magna alot, and the resale value seems to be pretty low, which wont be a problem as I probably plan to keep it a while. I'm thinking most probably a TL/TW model, but maybe the TJ if the funds aren't quite there(they seem to be a couple of grand cheaper due to the TJ being an older model)

Are there any TJ/L/W Magna owners out there? If so, what do you think? Also I have heard that Magna's seem to have a hiccup at about 100,000 k's(Drive mentions timing belt at 90,000 will need a replace), where a few things will need to be replaced, but after that if you look after it, there shouldn't be too many problems.

I have a TH Magna Solara wagon and it is a gem, just try and get one that has done resonable kilometres, look for blue smoke, check the CV joints and get the transmission also checked and the gears change smooth and dont 'clunk' between changes.
