I watched the press conference after the NAB Cup win against Carlton.

I reckon Macca is going to frustrate a few journos this year with his measured and laconic style. Doesn't give them much does he?

As long as he brings the boys along the way he's doing I don't mind, but I'm not sure I'll be watching too many of his pressers.

Haha, I was thinking the same thing while watching it. Going to frustrate them a lot I reckon.
I enjoy listening to him speak though. He very clearly and concisely explains what he wants to get, what his aim is, and how he is going to go about doing it.

Well said. I like that about him. AFL footballers obviously have skills but sometimes they lack a bit upstairs so it's good to have a coach who keeps it simple so not to give the players too much to get confused by when they are out on the field. Shaggy looks like an early beneficiary of this!:thumbsu:

Couldn't care less if Macca frustrates journos.

A lot of footy journos (yes you Robinson and Wilson), think they are the centre of the story, when were actually interested in our club and the players.

A prime example of this was the Majak Daw situation when these two spiteful characters cracked it with North over not telling them the full story and took it out on Daw and the club. The club owed nothing to the media and if I was a North supporter I would have trusted the club made the right call.
