I'm not sure but i thought Andrew MacDougall from West Coast was out of contract now? He would be a great pickup for Geelong although i doubt the Eagles would want to let him go. Considering they have a few young talls like Hansen, Seaby, Cox, Lynch, Staker and Glass it may be possible to prise him away, what do you guys think? We have a decent history of trading with the Eagles so we might be a chance. What about Joel Corey (from W.A. i think) and Mackie for MacDougall? Just a thought.

PS. If we fail to get a good forward this year could we make a run for Jonathan Brown at the end of next season? He may want to come home seeing as though Brisbane's run has come to an end?

McDougall has resigned with the Eagles. I wouldn't be prepared to trade Coey and Macks for him, and neither would the footy club. Mind you, McDougall will be a very good player.

As for the Jonathan Brown, there's no way he'll leave I think. He's 22, has 3 flags and is nearly the MVP. He's dad played with Fitzroy and he barracked for them his whole life, so I can't see him ever leaving.

I actually remember hearing Cooky on SEN saying at the end of 2000 I think they made a play for him when he was 19. They offered Clint Bizzel, Ronnie Burns and Geelong's first pick and they denied it, knowing he was going to be a superstar.
