haha i'm desperate to get this boy down to Port.

What would you trade him for?

I'm thinking Salopek because he's a victorian, and as much as i'd hate to see him go, he's been out of our line up for almost a month now.

Obviously Port's not in need of forwards, but i guess we could beef Andrew up and turn him into a key backman

As highly as i rate Salopek, we don't need another midfielder.

Mackie is pretty much untradeable.

I really rate Geelong. Been to 5 cats games this year. Always keep a close eye on Bartel, Hunt and Mackie.

Mackie seems to do jack all in the forward line. He leads hard and makes opportunities but your boys never pass to him, and when they do, he's in a hopeless situation. (Or just falls over )

Anyway why do you need Mackie when you have.......Kingsley

Everyone's tradeable, but Mackie is definitely a great prospect and won't come cheap. You would have to offer a low to mid first round draft pick (which you won't have) plus a genuinely handy player, not a middling midfielder who won't get a game.

Why is he worth a player and a 1st round or 2 first round players, well for starters you asked not us and for 2nds he might end up being a James Hird levl player or close to it. In 3 years time and looking back, it better look a good deal even then or it will be sackable for the trader.

I rate Salopek and Mackie over Cooney. Very overrated.

From what I have seen of Cooney , people are being very hard on him. IMO he has already played to much this year, in a side with more protection around him perhaps but at the Bullies when they are under the pump, not winning , he has played too many games. I dont think he has been nominated for the Rising Star has he ? So, if he doesnt get nominated the rest of the year, thats it. He would be the first #1 pick for some time to miss on getting nominated I would think. Anyway, in a couple of years Cooney is going to be good , real good.Compare him to Bartel at Geelong.Drafted 2001 but its really taken till this year to lock his place in the side but now he is really starting to burn.If I were you Id do a Salopek and a late first round say P12+ for a Cooney and early 2 round say P21
