ACK revealed a peak into the future on Monday against the touring Clontarf aboriginal academy. Maddison Hardiman was finally put on show for all to see in front of the small crowd at the ACK main oval. Hardiman has bin under wraps all season but with the ACK boys struggling to field a side due to injury and continued premiership celebrations, he was thrown into the mix after an early morning call on game day. With a low key build up to the game from the ACK boys it was Hardimans presence in the rooms before the game that lifted the boys. News of his triumph in the Kilmore Under 16s best and fairest "in the league" were inspiring and he led the side out on to the ground. Yet in a strange decision "the future" the left on the pine for the entire first half while ACK struggled to keep in touch with the talented Clontarf side. With ACK down by 3 goals at half time and looking tired, they called on the services of Hardiman and he was explosive as he led a famous ACK fight back to have the Kilmore boys get over the line by 5 points in a thriller. Hardiman will no doubt be a vital factor in ACK winning their 6th successive tital next season and will impress all with his skill and looks. Unfortunately again he will be hidden away this weekend as ACK take on SHC, only to return as the powerhouse of 2006. Hardiman = The future
