Not Counting our good players ofcourse.

Madtiger thinks all of these are our future and as he hates Trades we should keep all players on our list. So the above list are Madtiger's Untouchable players. All or most of them I wont lose sleep over if they got delisted. How many of those are Untradeable.

all of them are tradable, but that aint the problem. The problem is that, barring a few maybes, no one will want them. Got a feeling alot of tigerheads dont seem to understand how far behind the 8 ball our trade position is, in regards to quality we have to trade. ;)

the most we will trade out of those is 2.
and if we do decide to trade it shoud be for picks

*Polo - would trade
* Schulz - wouldnt
* Hughes - wouldnt
* Jackson - wouldnt
* Pettifer - would
*Graham - would

we definately have very little quality to trade. all of our players who would be worth something are untradeable. We've got plenty of depth players who we should consider off loading but we aren't in a position to net us another top 25 pick which will give us some advantage going into the era of compromised drafts. Would be great to have a Mitch Thorpe on the list we could get something for.

just have a sneaky suspicion that a couple of players that played a major part in this year's senior line up are going to surprise a few tigerheads, re. them being traded. By major i am not talking about the Sarge's of this world, although i am tipping he is a certainty to be put on the table, after being played in the right positions at the right time of the season, to get the stats up, for marketing. I would suggest that there might be a few feathers ruffled because a bigger name than the ones bandied around might be in the mix come trade time. Reckon it might even be Tuck too. ;)

Schulz = fish bait (no future at Richmond, will be pushed out permanently by a young guy eventually anyway)
Hughes = another year (fingers crossed....step up Cleve!)
Jackson = fish bait (same as Schultz)
Pettifer = will be delisted
Graham = who? ;)
King = one more year
Collins = who? ;)
Casserly = who? ;)
Coughlan = one more injury away from the knackery.
Gourdis = must give a chance
Mcmahon = can't flick him, till someone runs and carries like him. (reason for grabbing him in the first place)

*Polo- Probably wont get better than a third rounder so no
* Schulz- If we can get an offer like Port did last season then yes, but doubtful
* Hughes- Doubt we'd get a huge offer, surely we'd give him another season
* Jackson- Wont get an offer
* Pettifer- Who would take a guy who played for Coburg all year and now cant play til mid season?
*Graham- No one will want him, he cant even get a game for us
* King- Doubt we'd get a better offer than 4th round. maybe take that
* Collins- Again, if he can't get a game for the Tigers who would want him
*Cassely- See Collins
* Coughlan- No way, Clubs wont want to offer to much for him given his injury record, and although we'd manage something its not worth the potential upside given how much we've put into him
* Gourdis- We just got the kid, give him some time to develop. Why would a club want to trade for him already?
*Mcmahon- Keep. We gave Pick 19 for him and he's played well, we'd probably get a pick in the 30s for him in a trade

If we want to get some picks we are going to have to throw some decent names out there!

I don't agree with trades. Firstly, we delist the crap players because no one would want them anyway. Secondly we keep all of the required players. No need to trade a good player who is establishing himself at the club, knows the game plan, knows all the players games and is part of a close group of mates. You'll be trading for a player of equal talent who will take 1 full season to find his best game at a new club. We wouldn't pick up a superstar unless we traded our first pick and 1 or 2 players. We have most positions filled and potential to fill the remaining positions. I don't agree with trading unless you can get the best player in the comp or if you have no player on the list who can fill a position. We have everything covered imo and if we find out we lack 1 player to fill a position, we will have future draft picks to solve the problem. Teams are meant to be full of players who play for each other and have all positions filled. Every team needs a Jacko and a Polo

what a load of crap....who the **** trades a player for a player who offers the same fool?
You trade a good player, where you have another good player to replace him with and you fill a position that you didnt have a good player in, let alone a replacement.
You use your draft picks to create replacements that pressure the good player to remain a good player, or else they become a replacement. ;)

I must be the opposite to madtiger then..

I believe EVERYONE is tradeable....For the right price.

Yes, I'd even trade Richo, Lids, Foley & Cotchin...

We'd have to get a pretty great offer for any of them though, although it probably would help the clubs planned renovations to have the stands at Punt Road burnt down after the Richo trade :)

I'd suggest all of those trades would have that effect.

I said you trade a player with equal TALENT. It's common sense you trade them for a player who plays in a difference position you clown. As I said we have potentially all positions covered and should be keeping all our draft picks to find quality depth

Pfft.. get a life mate. King is a gun, wouldnt be suprised if he goes into a roving forward type role.
and as for coughlan, schulz, mcmahon haha in ya dreams... all good players!

Kane Johnson is untouchable. No one trades a captain :)

He should be untouchable!!!
dunno if you guys rememeber but he has been in our best 22 in the last 3 years!! sacrifices his own game by taking the likes of cornes, kerr out of the game to benefit the team!! great tagger....
