Major League Baseball Tips 15/08

I only like 1 bet tomorrow but am very confident that it will come through.

My tip :

Baltimore Orioles v New York Yankees : total score over 11 runs

The Yankees have been belting the ball lately. A streak I am happy to get on the back of. With a team that boasts A-Rod, Jeter, Giambi and Matsui they have the fire power to pick up the 11 runs in no time.

The Orioles are no slouches either with Cabrera and co doing some serious damage. Yankees stadium is a favourite hitters park but the two pitchers are hardly brilliant. The warm weather forecast will also play in favour of the over.

Game starts at 9am tomorrow morning. Best of luck. I will post results tomorrow afternoon

Yeah Benny but still a way to go. Up to 7-0 in the 5th. Am hoping the Yankee batters wake up from their slumber. Only 1 hit in 4 innings

Baltimore will get the runs on their own how there going at the moment.

Yeah Brower has little control over the plate at the moment. Not to mention the Orioles are making him earn it and being very patient with their take counts

The Yanks are already on their 3rd pitcher and its only the 6th innings. The deeper they go in to their bullpen the harder it will be to keep the runs down. Cabrera is already up to 80 pitches so he will only last another 1-2 innings.

Good stuff Phil, didn't back it myself as thought the Yankee bats were due for a bad one soon which had to happen (and did yet you still got the custard!!!)

Only got involved in one match and backed Florida H2H @ $1.70 & -1 @ $2.40 and they were up 14 - 0 after 4 innings (which was handy) and are currently up 14-5 in the middle of the 8th so surely they will get home

Great work Tassie. There is some serious dough to be made on MLB - particularly on runs total. Last year I picked up 73% on the run totals. It provides a much better return than betting head to head.

The Yanks had a shocker today but their last 8 games had all gone over. If there is one rule you stick to, the hotter the day/night is, the more likely the total will go over. Tonight it was a sticky 28 celsius at NY. I was watching the starting pitchers and after each pitch they would go to the bag and dry their hands. Cabrera wasnt too bad but the starter for NY was shocking. When its humid, pitchers get tired and the moisture in the air carries the ball further. Sounds wanky but its true.

Nice little win today on the Marlins. Keep up the good work
