Well back again with the tips for today. Have had a good run recently so am due for a couple of losses. Am still confident about these ones tomorrow :

New York Mets v Pittsburgh Pirates - over 9.5 runs

Did you see the last innings in todays game? Ended up with 8 runs!! I was surprised how slow things went from innings 3-8 but it eventually it was a flood. Expect the same tomorrow. Warm and humid conditions forecast coupled with two batting line ups in awesome form. This one looks like getting the over early on.

Chicago White Sox v Oakland Athletics - under 8 runs

These two teams struggled to get runs on the board today and with better pitchers on the mound tomorrow, expect this one to go well under. The Sox are struggling to get anything together offensively and in this no homer stadium, expect more of the same.

Kansas City Royals v Texas Rangers - under 10 runs

This line stinks. Almost so much I think there is something behind it. How they can have a line of 10 with two of the poorest offensive teams in the MLB is beyond me. The only factor is the weather with temps expected to tip 90's with very high humidity. I will take the juice on this one. Too good to turn down

Had to happen eventually. The White Sox game went over in the 8th innings.

Current score 5-5 in the 9th = LOSS :thumbsd:

Other games start in 25 minutes and 1.5 hours respectively. Hopefully I can notch up 2 wins to counter the first loss.

Looking okay in the Mets game so far Phil with score 5-0 in middle of the 3rd.

Thought they were going to miss a big opportunity to score here after having the bases loaded with none out they had to rely on a 2 out hit from the pitcher to keep things going

Yeah mate Pittsburgh haven't got anything going offensively yet. Hopefully this will end up the same as yesterday where there is a mid game lull before the onslaught when the pens come in to play

Can't believe the Mets pitcher has gone 2/2 with 2 RBI - real bonus :D

Just saw the score has gone to 7-3 in the 5th so good job Phil. Had a fair crack at this match as saw they scored 18 between them yesterday and thought taking near even money was a good bet when they only had to get half of yesterdays tally and your comments gave me a bit more confidence :thumbsu:

Cheers Tassie. To cover this line I needed a reasonable performance from the Pirates and they knocked a few over the line. The weather and early retirement of the Pittsburgh starter helped.

New York v Pittsburgh 7-4 = WIN :thumbsu:

Still I am breakeven at the moment. The KC gravy train game needs to get me back in to the positives. Tassie, did you get on the KC under?

Sure did, was a bit worried when they both scored in the first but things have got back to what we want now as still 1-1 after 3.

Just have a bad feeling about this match and can see Sammy Sosa finally hitting after not being able to hit a beach ball over the past 2 months.

Good news. Rain delay at the bottom of the 4th. Means the starters can freshen up again. Rheinhecker is doing the job for Texas but expect Nenez to give up a couple of runs once play resumes. Really struggling with control and pitch count. Sosa almost knocked him out of the park at the bottom of the 3rd.

Still chugging along okay here at 2-1 after 5. Lot of hitting being done though for not much scoring at the moment which is a worry.

I see that KC made a pitching change as you suggested

Yep its interesting that these teams have the highest LOB % in the MLB. So expect a lot of hits and not much returns - another reason why the 10 runs seemed extreme.

Ok well Ive decided to follow you the last couple of days, I dont mind baseball but don't know much about it, follow the red sox cos Bill Simmons brainwashed me haha.

Soria to close out. I cant believe the last two pitches were in the middle of the strike zone and the ref called them both as balls. Disgrace!!!

All over. Another one locked away.

Final score :

Kansas City Royals v Texas Rangers 6-2 = WIN :thumbsu:

Takes my posted tally to 10 wins, 6 losses and 1 push. (63%)

Was filthy about the early loss with Chicago but will counter that tomorrow hopefully with a couple of wins!!

I will post my tips for tomorrow later tonight once my analysis is done. See ya then.
