I rate us. We have the talent, we couldn't run the game out last night. Some depth would be handy too. When Vicks went down it seemed we lost our structure and couldn't return fire.

i think it was back in 08 when milburn rag dolled a young edwards in a tackle and slammed his head into the turf. i've wanted revenge in a physical sense since and once again we miss an opportunity. why does vickery come off second best in a clash of heads with johnson? why was it not johnson coming off bloodied and concussed? just brushed aside too easily in physical contests, need to get stronger and brutal in a general sense

Geelong are a great side because they don't have turnover merchants like Dan Jackson in their 22. His poor skills would not be excepted and he would be dropped to work on it. But we are Richmond, we accept flaws and our dim witted Coach loves Jackson.

Making a statement by going the knuckle achieves SFA, remember the Pies game back in 09 when King went the knuckle on Didak and a few others. We lost the game 93 and the Pies went on there way winning a flag a year later. What we need to do is make a statement on the ground in terms of matching it with the top sides when the heat is on and showing that we're no longer pushovers. As soon as we start doing that we will start get respect. Start winning those games as well and we will BE respected.

That's what I'm talking about, go out and beat teams on the ground and the scoreboard and then the respect will come. Right now we're not respected or feared, teams are wary of us knowing that on our day we can surprise them. What we need them to be is fearful of playing us knowing that regardless of the result they will walk off knowing they were in a battle.
