With players such as Essendon's Scott Lucas, Carlton's Brendan Fevola, Hawthorn's Nathan Thompson and Brisbane's Daniel Bradshaw all uncontracted at season's end would you still take Michael?

slimy bastard

He may have been 'ordanary' with Collingwood, but that's par for the course. He's a quality defender now and that's what we need.

Lucas plays both ends of the ground.

CHF isn't exactly cast in stone yet either. We have players who could be capable of holding down CHF but none have stepped up and grabbed it yet.

Travis Gaspar did, and then he got injured. McDougall has been used there in small bursts and has proven he has good hands.

In my opinion we have no worries at all with our forward stocks.. The only thing I'm worried about is another tall defender. Hopefully Glass can show us what he is made of, and then when Gaspar is fit, he can be sent to CHB, and Doogs will be our permanent CHF.

It all hinges on Gassy staying fit.

Where do you see Hansen and Staker fitting in? Gaspar would be good at CHB as you say. Lynch seems to be being groomed for a role in the back live as well.

Maybe this is how it will look in a few years time?

B: Wirrpunda, Lynch, Read
HB: Hunter, Gaspar, Green
C: Embley, Cousins, Braun
HF: Chick, McDougall, Jones
F: Judd, Hansen, Sampi
FOLL: Gardiner, Fletcher, Kerr
I/C Haynes, Johnson, Staker, Morrison

True, but if you take CHF away from Jako at the moment, he may as well retire.

Not so sure that Lynch has what it takes, although I'd like him to prove me wrong.

Where is Glass?
