Went okay today, was popping up everywhere forward middle and back. The only thing that worried me was that his kicking didn't seem to be as penetrating as usual.

I don't think that's very surprising. You would have to think that he would still be building up the strength in his knee and also remember that he hasn't played a full game since early September last year. All things considered, I thought he did very, very well.

thought the most significant thing in his game was that he never seemed to avoid or even flinch at heavy physical contact, didn't shirk tackles, etc
couldn't have asked for more

Did a pretty cool side-step too .

Oh, and grimlock .. so close in your prediction, he was 51m out. Now if only he'd kicked it :p

It's going to be a long time before I can forget the bionic knee and not stress about it during the game.

It is fantastic to him back but I think he should have a game or 2 in reserves.
Today he was a turnover machine.
His handling was terrible, when he had the ball he really didn't know what to do with it.His kicking, which is usually sublime, was hitting Port players on the chest. He was looking to handball when he really should have put the foot down, take a few bounces and delivered a pass to the forwards.
But then again I trust Roos and the match commitee implicitly so I will cop what they decide.
