It's all what if's and speculation on the draft anyway. Who's to say we aren't after eckerman or monfries to start off with and get the player they wanted anyway.

most likely the deal that eventuated wouldve been somewhat different from the deal that was initially proposed.

After all the bargaining etc we only find out the result, along with any rumours etc. So how do you know obree wasnt offered?
