I can't post on redcafe. It says I can only post on the Newbie forum and that doesn't exist. I don't what the **** to do.
Where's the newbie forum though? I can't find it on the list. It's a weeding system to keep out the ****witted trolls. Sign up and serve your apprenticeship in the newbie forum and if the mods deem you good enough, you get promoted.
I was in there 'round the time of the Ronaldo sale to Madrid. Muppets everywhere

It's hidden from public view.
Having been promoted, I can't see it either. Haven't since June 2010

No value in the market. Not trying to be smartarse after the loss to Spurs but is there a reason Fergie hasn't signed a quality central mid for about 2 seasons? Surely given giggs/scholes are 37 and 38 there'd be contingency plans in place, but after the whole Sneijder thing it just seems to have died down. Just to clarify I mean a source of link player sitting in behind the attacking mids/wingers, seems to be the area your most deficient in.
Really quality post. One thing from the second half I thought was interesting was Rooney once he came on. For the first ten minutes after he came on, he was very good, but other than that I thought he wasn't great. The main impact he had on the team was mentally IMO, he lifted everybody else.Going back to the Spurs game on the weekend, here's my view on it.
1st half was an absolute disgrace, a reflection on how we have been playing all season so far, and if it continues, we will get belted one day against quality side like Man City or Chelsea. The midfield is below average, Carrick was not getting back and helping out the defenders, only running one way, which is really disapointing. Scholes, as good as he is, was getting shut down in the first half and couldn't take control at all.
Our defence was shocking yet again, the first goal the Spurs scored was down to no pressure and not paying attention, i think it was Evra who let the Spurs player run through and Rio didn't even make a challenge, just ran beside him. With no Vidic, and a struggling Ferdinand, we are in big trouble, not to mention Smalling and Jones are still out.
As much as i love Giggs and as good as he has been for us he must never start again, except for maybe easy league games and Capitol Cup games. He is past it against the top teams now, get's found out way to easily.
Again, back to the midfield, we were dominated by Dempsey and Dembele, and i'm pulling my hair out as to why we haven't signed a midfielder yet, i just can't see why SAF has not addressed our biggest problem.
We may have a very strong attack with our top class strikers, but when you have no midfield, they are going to struggle, and this is why RVP looks like a chop playing for us. He hardly has an influence because he can't, and Kagawa is not being used to he's strengths.
Our 2nd half was a lot better, but only because Rooney came on and changed the game, and it just goes to show that it is vital that Rooney, RVP and Kagawa all play together with Kagawa on the left drifting in and out finding space, he was immense when the change happened and score a goal.
We will be seeing similar results if things do not change, but with this midfield i can't see us improving anytime soon. SAF also has an outdated gameplan, it could be time to bring in either Mourinho or Pep, they would bring fresh ideas to this team that i think it desperately needs.

Good post however -
Cant agree with this part of your post, seems like short memory to me.
He was 1 minute away from winning the league with the same shite midfield practically.
Think a case of short memory for mine and he deserves more from you considering what he has done.
We are crap because we have a soft centre and have some old slow players down back.
I was laughed at for me criticism of Rio only a week ago but heck the writting was on the wall 3 seasons ago! and same goes for Evra. Also I had Carrick sold a few years ago also....Maybe I should manage the side
SAF will get the best out of this group but unfortunately the group is not the best

The most disappointing player other than Rio and Evra was Carrick. I'm not normally a basher of him, nor do I rate him really highly. He never takes big risks but at least normally does some clever passing. Not only did he expose the defence by not tracking back, he offered absolutely nothing going forward. Even in the second half when we were dominating, he would give it to Scholes every time.
