Freo folk, just curious as to the health and general status of young Drum. Unless he has injuries, I was wondering why he's been so rarely seen in the seniors this season.
I really rate him and I had always thought the club rated him too.
If you don't want him, I'm sure the Swans could do something with him.
Cheers

trust me the dockers want him in the side, he just struggles with injury, he actually reminds me a little of mcpharlin in his early years, constant hammy and groin problems. but macpharlin overcame them and is now in our best three players.

the dockers rate him, and im sure will want to keep him for the long term

thanks mate, good luck to the swanies too, had a soft spot for them ever since they beat the wank.rs down the road in 05

cheers
i suspect i've done nuthin but jinx you since 06, though, when i started tipping you for a flag
my dockers mate has been telling me to shut up for two years

He's never cemented his spot anyhow unlike Crowley/Schammer/Mundy/Peake who all came about at roughly the same time, injuries or not. He is another player in a huge list we have that for some reason or another can't consistently perform for us, whether through injury or being crap.

He performs fine. you need to check your memories! Crowley, Scham, Mundy and Peake all came before Drum in that time when we were setting ourselves for t he flag. 2006 was Drums first year and our PF year, of course he wasn't going to cement a spot then or the year after with Connolly insisting on using the older guys that got there before. This year its been injuries since he got into the side and that only.

He looked like getting regular games in '06 I think it was until his hammys gave way.
Blaming CC because he wasnt in the team last year disregards the fact that mabey he wasnt good enough.
He still hasnt convinced me he is a walk up start. Definitely in our best 26 fit players though.

We've had over the years plenty of injured coulda beens or shoulda beens.

When he strings 7 or 8 games together injury free when he have our full list to pick from then we can say he's arrived.

He performs fine.

For a WAFL quality player maybe. As I said, has never cemented his spot in the best 22, and there have been periods he was available for selection but wasn't selected. So it's not just "my" opinion.

Yes but those main opportunities.. he was 19! He's still a kid for petes sake. Only 21, thats young for a KPP.
