You got a better use for it?Hahaha I gave up on this
The Aleer swap makes sense. The money that North are throwing around doesn't.
A team's gotta hit the minimum total player payments somehow.

I donāt think he wants to be a run with player moving forward though he has stated in interviews, it was good for his development, but he wants to be a genuine mid moving forwardHe would be a starting midfielder for us. Our midfield needs to be balanced out with a defensive runner.

I don't think we would use him as a tagger, more a Rowbottom type to work with our more damaging mids.I donāt think he wants to be a run with player moving forward though he has stated in interviews, it was good for his development, but he wants to be a genuine mid moving forward

agree especially if they are chasing Cam McKenzie - one mid out one mid in.The fact the saints havenāt been prepared to offer Windhager more than two raises the possibility that it could be a calculated strategy to use his trade value to achieve some of the many deals theyāre trying to execute.
We are trying to improve to jump into finals contention, no point losing a player to bring one in especially in the middle were we lack depth, from all reports he wants to stay he just wants more money and yearsagree especially if they are chasing Cam McKenzie - one mid out one mid in.
Canāt help but be impressed by what the Saints are pulling off hereagree especially if they are chasing Cam McKenzie - one mid out one mid in.
What analytics gave them 1.7 a year for TDK?The Saints use certain analytics to decide the "worth" of players on the list. They look at the numbers and make sure the output matches the salary. Seems like Windy/his manager believe he is worth more than the club thinks his worth.
I love the bloke's attitude, but he isn't on the same level of talent as a Phillipou, Tauru, Wilson etc. He is heart and soul, but I can see why they don't want to pay him potentially $750-800k over four years.
Be that as it may, he's 22 years old, he's versatile, and he played midfield in about 50% of all his club's gametime this year. The Saints use certain analytics to decide the "worth" of players on the list. we supposedly have a 5 year deal in front of him at around 800k a year

GWS doesn't have the cap spaceIsn't it GWS that is most into Windhager? Surely close enough to a straight swap for Aleer, given you are both probably offering the incoming player a far bigger contract than the outgoing one. Neither team could ask for more.
Sign of a good culture and a well run club.Canāt help but be impressed by what the Saints are pulling off here
Signed Naz
Bring In TDK
Take their pick of Aleer/SOS
Leading the team and for Liam Ryan
Strong talk on McKenzie.
Plus King to come back next year and a young group.
Fair effort well played Saints.
More a sign of massively overpayingSign of a good culture and a well run club.
They have to overpay, at least to an extent. Same goes with many Victorian clubs competing with each other. Getting the actual player nomination can be hard.More a sign of massively overpaying
Ahh geez and Phillipou also apparently extending his contract.
This is the worst exodus ever !!.
Another good win for the Saints.Apparently itās done.
