I know Maric got murdered at the ball-ups on Friday (and that is a ruckman's main job) - but he was so good at everything else around the ground, he was a very worthwhile contributor (and far better than Sandilands or Clarke in open play). And he still got 20 hitouts of his own.

MARIC DENIES SWANS WAR DANCE REVENGE

Richmond cult figure Ivan Maric denies he is preparing to stage a response to Adam Goodes' war dance with his own traditional Croatian War Dance when they meet the Swans in 3 weeks. SBS was anomalously sent in a home video of Maric's private party which showed what appears to be Reece Conca and Trent Cotchin learning a 'war dance' and then other players and girlfriends joined in the affair.
