What has happened to him?

He was being touted as our saviour KPD last year?
Could at least get a run, as we've been getting monstered in defense of late.

Or is he injured?

Injured. Been listed as one week two weeks in a row, so I'm hopeful he'll be fit to play for the Bullants this week.

Will take him a few weeks to gain match fitness after an injury interrupted preseason but I'm a very big fan and cannot wait till he's back in the side.

He's a very good size and is probably our best prospect for the talls who we struggle with at the moment.

He and Bower coming back into the side are just about the only things I'm looking forward to this year.

If we are to be a chance at finals this year, these two along with Jamo have to always line up. It would allow Thornton and Russel to play HBF, and drop back to fill in the holes.

I agree. Thornton is excellent at cutting of the forwards lead but mediocre in the one on ones. The sooner Bower and Austin come in the better off we will be.

Defintely missed thorntan being that third man over the top or chopping off the passes into the forward. Plus he offers some good set up play from half back. Bower gives some run off that half back as well.

Austin is another Jamison, man on man type player. Jamison, Thorntan, Bower, Austin with Scotland and Russell completing that defence will defintely help this team.

Real shame that Aussie just can't get his body right for extended periods of time, so he can get out onto the ground. Has looked very good at times, and I really do have my fingers crossed for him that he can make some sort of impact at senior level in 2010.
