Hey Carlton Supporters
i know i'm in the wrong thread etc but since Mark Austin is training with doggies at this point in time to get drafted, what do Blues supporters think of them, i didn't see much of him play this year but just want your view on what he could bring if we draft him.

What is Mark Austin like as a player? Have heard next to nothing about him.

Basically, one that gets injured a lot.
Austin may be described as an athletic backman that can also play forward.
Many here (me included) hoped he'd finally nail the CHB post this year, but injury took hold and then poor ensued.

Like Hartlett before him, luck just didn't come along, but he could still make for a good player.

He's adequate at the moment and someone who we all thought could take the next step. Injury and poor management probably ruined him at the Blues in the end. Determined player though, I think he only played the one game this year versus West Coast, check my sig for links to watch that match.

It's also worth noting he seems to have major forearm injuries from being made to play half a VFL match with a broken arm
