I seen him play for Sollys in his early days and he used to love going into packs knees first.

But that aspect wasnt seen in his AFL career that I recall.

Thug ? No
Hard? Yes

The incident with Wakelin was not without regret.
Weve all regretted snap decisions in hindsight.

The way he played footy was exactly what your mob needed during their failed finals campaigns.

Get back to your slums at Alberton and unwrap the tin foil from your easter egg cups and start eating them. They're worth nothing mate and until your club gets one or two of the real ones I think you should think about abusing your own players rather than the successful opposition ones.

Hey Crowboy, you miss the point.

Im not questioning the success Mark Bickley has had, but rather the character of the bloke. He obviousley is not as COMMITTED as you think he is... A family is far more important than any AFL medal, theres more to life than footy, and Mark has completely screwed that up.

I have no problems with his success as the skipper of the Adelaide Footy Club, good on him and it was a great achievement but I just think he is an average bloke with little respect. I have met the guy, and he is an arrogant prick. He cant read the news, he cant keep his pesh in his pants, and his loyalty to the AFC was obviousley out of character...

How many talented hardworking intelligent Journalism students (the TER is currently higher than Medicine) do we have in this state who have potentially been deprived of a position at Channel 9 simply because Mark Bickley is Mark Bickley?

If he was Joe Public in off the street he wouldn't have passed a screen test.
