Herard sun is suggesting we are trading for him. I for one don't really know all that much about him. So, what do we think, and if anyone can give me some info on him, that would be good.

The games I have seen him play he has been ordinary. He has a big left foot kick and that is about it. I wouldn't have a clue why the club would look at getting him. He wouldn't go anywhere near getting a game in our best 22 IMO.

Maybe they want to play him in a quarterback role to free up Harbrow and Gilbee for other roles further down the ground. Who knows. Personally I can't see the point of getting him but I guess the club knows what it is doing.

Definetly a move in the pipeline to somewhere in Vic. Was on the same plane as my mate a few weeks ago

We want pick 31, you want to give us pick 63 which isnt on really considering Richmond will take him in the PSD before you guys. Think hes a rich mans Tim Callan for ya.

Deal in the mould of Nicoski + pick 55 for Pick 31 would suit both sides

Embers is one of the biggest shit spinners on Bigfooty so luckily that trade won't be going through. Something on the Richmond board mentioned that we were interested in Tuck. I'd take Tuck over Nicoski and that's saying a lot.

If Nicoski is injury-free, he's quite handy. He can be a damaging run-and-carry player, either on a HBF or a wing. Raking kick and can boot a goal.

At his best, he also demonstrated a defensive side of his game. I remember one game where he totally shut down Davey.

He looked like he was going to be a good player for us but injuries have hurt him. It just depends whether or not he can get back to something close to his best, or whether he's totally cooked, but it's not like he has always been a complete spud.

If we got pick 31, it would be a real win for us. But pick 63 is of negligible value.

While we're offering up our fringe players, how about you guys take Hansen off our hands as well?

He's not that great a player either. I can't see how he is going to improve us.

If we need a left foot booming kick, I would rather keep Eagleton on then use draft picks for a recycled player.

Was fantastic, if not one of the best young defenders around before he ****ed his ankle up. Hes still better than quite a few on your list like Callan, Addison in that defensive role.

Would we pay Eagletons wage on your salary cap for yous? The fact you want us to pay part of his wages for a 4th rounder is plain insulting. We would be better off letting him loose in the PSD

Nicoski is so good that he is being delisted, so if you get pick 101 Worsfold will be happy. He has entirely lost his confidence and form. He has stress fractures in his back as well. You guys are just doing him a favour to see if he can resurrect his career because his career at the Eagles is done and dusted, he, the club and you know that.

If you get lucky, you might get a Swans late return pick which is promised as part of the Hall deal. This would be only out of the goodness of our heart.

Obviously stats aren't everything but here are his last 4 games:

Round 10 - 17 disposals @ 88% efficiency (not bad)
Round 11 - 16 disposals @ 94% efficiency (included 7 kicks, probably only 1 ineffective, not a bad game)
Round 12 - 12 disposals @ 75% efficiency (must've stuffed up somewhere, lowest SuperCoach score in the game of 10)
Round 17 - 17 disposals @ 59% efficiency (2nd lowest in team)

Round 12 and 17 aren't very promising for a 'quarterback' role.

yeah....he isn't a ball magnet or anything. I wouldn't think he is worth more than a 4th rounder.

His disposal is fine. His decision making is terrible. Do you realise trading him for a 4th rounder means we get nothing. We wont use pick 60 odd.... Why wouldnt we just let him go to Richmond in the PSD instead...

Maybe say....

Nicoski + Pick 23 for
Stack + Pick 31

Agree. A couple of clubs are sniffing. We will just take the best offer, i dont think Nico cares where he ends up. If clubs offer a deal that doesnt get us a 2nd rounder from a pick upgrade we will just send him in the PSD or maybe even re-sign him if he wants.

Nicoski has a booming left foot and reads the play well. He was a gun player but after injury layoff has failed to reproduce his best form.

My personal take is that Nicoski has been made to play half back as a man on man style that Woosha used to employ.
FWIW I think Nico will blossom if allowed to play a more running attacking style of play that the Bullies employ. He seams to get too self conscious of his opponent playing man on man and like a few of our players in the first half of this year Nico has struggled adapting to the new team strategy.

How about Nicoski and pick 23 for Josh Hill and pick 63.

agreed.

i've had more than my fair share of exposure to nicoski (having to watch all the eagles games)

or niclangski as we call him.

second only to chad fletcher as the player eagles supporters would least like to have the ball in their hands.
