At the risk of returning to the subject, I tend to agree that if McKernan gets traded back to the Roos, I doubt very much that they'd let Sinclair go in any trade, except with additional sweeteners (picks).
If the goal of playing in finals and premierships is what it is about, then the immediate to short-term future at Carlton certainly isn't bright and I doubt Sinclair would want to go, unless of course if the money attracts him, like it did Deni$ Pagan. I'm not about to buy into who is going to win the next premiership, but I would have thought the 'life cycle' means that the Roos are heading back up from 6 o'clock with new coach and recent draftees coming on, and closer to 12 o'clock than the Blues. How long it will take the Blues would be a question any player contemplating playing there would have to ask, surely, given draft limitations and current playing list, yes?!?
Is a reverse trade with Porter something that could happen and why? Let's face it, as far as Deni$ is concerned it isn't a reverse trade, so much as the same trade. If he made it before - motivated by the fact he can't motivate Corey - they why wouldn't he make it again? The Roos are a different team now and Corey has got the evidence of his form over the past 4-5 years to notice how well he goes under Pagan, and a 'year out' to notice how he goes when away from him. It would be ironic if the Blues ditched Allan and redrafted Porter!

not sure if anyones said it already so i apologise if it has been said but sinclair is contracted until the end of next season i think and corey for sinclair is a very unlikely trade...
