No, seriously, if you weren't a straight male, you know you'd want to. :D

What. A. Player.

http://www.smh.com.au/news/league/the-biff-is-back--but-it-wont-decide-this-showdown/2006/10/20/1160851138035.html?page=2

Storm coach Craig Bellamy recently sent Inglis over to AFL club North Melbourne to practice collecting high balls, Aussie rules-style. After a few sessions, the North Melbourne coach asked his players what they thought of Inglis.

"Is there any way we can get him to our club?" was the reply.

He's actually the greatest athlete i've ever seen in any sport. Almost touching 200cm, 100kg and can run the hundred in just less than 11 seconds.

Un-fricking-believable!:D

Finest athlete in Victoria :thumbsu:

I'd sign him for the Dees. How quick is he!!! That first try last night sent shivers down my spine.

Hope Storm do everything in its power to keep him.

Hate to see him poached.

Dont worry, they spotted his talent when he as very young. He's signed till 2010 now I believe, with a contract extension in the works.

His last try, just unbelievable ... How damn quick is he!

Sign him for life i reckon

Awesome athlete!!!! It's great his with the Melbourne Storm, he could really do wonders for Rugby League down there:thumbsu:

Something decent came out of my old Qld side, Norths Devils before the Storm cut ties with them. Would be nice to see him playing fortnightly in Qld for the Broncs or Titans but I'm sure I can console myself watching him go round for Qld in the SOO for a long time to come. I think Qld might be on the edge of their own period of dominance with Inglis the marquee player.

Inglis, Slater, Hodges, Hunt .... what a fantastic backline the Maroons will have. Consider that Thurston still has a lot of years left in him to guide them around and it is looking pretty exciting.

I must have been creating my thread when you submitted this. Can't wait for origin next year!

Yeah agree QLD look to be dominating the SOO in the next few years with players like that. Add cameron smith, lockyer etc and the blues will be shaking in their shoes next year.

I'm not sure what the situation is in RL but would love to see the broncs try and get Inglis up to a QLD team where he belongs.

Great last try by Inglis but also loved the scorching pass by Lockyer to set him up..just scary good!

Nup. Keep Inglis down in Melbourne. The broncos have a huge area in which to develop their future players. It is true, there have been many players wanting to play for the broncos (particularly with Wayne Bennett as head coach), but i can't see Inglis wanting to do that.

Hopefully the storm will continue to find star Queenslanders in the future. :D I would love to see the storm team become a mix of Qld and Victorian players.

It's interesting to note, Warwick, that by the Swans 8th year in the competition, they had 1 Sydney born player in the team in Paul Kelly. As it stands currently, the Storm have Jeremy Smith as their Melbourne junior, with the promising Jarrod Stack also coming through the ranks. :thumbsu:

It will take time, but there will be a few Victorian players soon.

"If you build it..."

I hope Melbourne will get to the stage where they could be a very competitive side with solely Victorian and Queensland players. :D Stuff the blues!

In all seriousness, just how good is he?

Nobody would doubt that he's a genuine superstar aged 19, can he go on be one of the G.O.A.T?

Paul Kelly wasn't from Sydney, he was from Junee and played in the same RL team as Laurie Daley, before taking up AR.

There was a special on Foxsports back in 1996 when talking about the Wagga area being the sports talent capital of Australia, saying per capita they had more pro athletes come from there.

Also they showed that the 3 main Aussie sports.

Captain of the cricket team - Mark Taylor.
Captain of the Rugby League team - Laurie Daley.
Captain of the All-Australian AFL team - Paul Kelly.

All from the Wagga area.

I think saying that he will be better than Wally Lewis is a touch premature. He will be a fantastic player, no doubt, but Wally was one of the top 5 to have played.

I did say one of the best... ;)
