On March 9, they reportedly had the following exchange:

Hird: "Good work today mate, the boys were up and about, we have a lot to work with.

Dank: "IVs start next week and Thymosin with Uniquinon. We will start to see some real effects.

Then between March 27-28:

Dank: "That is the IV list that will be completed by Wednesday night.

Hird: "Good work mate, (name deleted) rang me tonight and said how good he felt after he saw you."

On April 3, Dank detailed more substances:

"We have cerebrolysin, we will re-oxygenate and re-circulate the brain. We will also be getting Solcoseryl."

Also in April:

Dank: "All IV and injections completed.

Hird: "Great work mate, it would be a great effort to have them feeling fresh for Anzac Day."

On May 11, Dank talks about an unspecified project.

"financials ready for you and David for AOD project. These financials cover all possible revenue streams, where the project applies."

I had a laugh when draftee Jarrod Pickett recently revealed that in one of his player interviews, a club asked him to spell Gatorade backwards.

Seemed pretty strange.

Then it was revealed the club was Essendon.

Probably wanted to ascertain how much cerebrolysin would need to be ordered for young Jarrod.:)

H
has he a masters degree in biochemistry?

In February Dank told an interview with the ABC's 7.30 that he had a degree in biochemistry from the Queensland University of Technology, and was a PhD candidate (suspended last year) at the University of Sydney for a thesis on antioxidants.

It is believed Dank undertook a Masters degree in sports science at the University of NSW in the mid 1990s, but it is unclear whether he graduated.

"We have searched our system and have not been able to find a record of a Stephen Dank graduating from UNSW,'' a university spokeswoman said.

Hence why i said he was a Masters student, not that he had obtained a degree in it. ;) Research Higher Degree students often do research on human participants and therefore learn about ethics protocols and requirements. So he should be aware of it.

I still can't get over this ridiculous supposed test of ...... just what the hell are they trying to test here?????

It could explain one thing though. The dumber you are, the less inclined you are to question anything. Perfect for a lab rat.

versus your nonsense, its drivel ... out of context as well you know. You can try & play the village idiot to deny your original post.
What crap are you talking today?

There's no need for me to deny my original post. It was a pretty basic question relating to Evans and Dank's relationship relating to "financials".

I suggest you think before hitting submit.

It would be hilarious if true.

It certainly sounds like the sort ad hoc, slap dash, way Essendon went about this whole program. Hehehehe, fancy not using a quality legal firm to draft important forms to protect your organisation but instead some seakayaker from Deaken Uni.

What a bunch of amateurs. Little wonder Essendon were beaten up by a bowls club.

Haha, this saga just continues to give.

It could well be that EFC got exactly what they wanted by using Hardie.

Asking someone to spell a word backwards is generally part of a screening examination for cognition, specifically addressing attention and concentration. The standard test for this is asking someone to spell the world "WORLD" forward and backwards, or the "Serial 7" test where one is asked to subtract 7 from 100 and keep doing so. In a pre-draft interview, it might simply come under a standard part of their assessment, or if a potential draftee was responding in a way that made the interviewers wonder about the possibility of him being cognitively impaired secondary to alcohol or other drugs.

Just getting them to see if they can spell it correctly in this day and age would be enough.

Why not just get them to read a passage of text? I've never had to spell anything in reverse order in all my years, but my cognitive skills were never questioned.

You stick to your opinion & you might consider some of your own advice IF it was given in good faith.

Listen, you're the one who quoted me, and then posted this garbage below.

Ignorance is bliss eh Echo ... out of context but you run with it, cosying up to Hardie, come on !
Every man and his dog in the thread has queried the "financials" at some point, so to come in here and start gobbing off about things being spoken about that are 'out of context', well, you're either very slow on the uptake, or trying desperately to divert the conversation away from the actual topic.

Who knows what "cosy up to hardie" was actually suppose to mean, but don't bother explaining.

I'll be happy to not get any further notification from you, thanks Robbo.

Yes, I like to use that financials quote every so often.

I wonder if the test in SA is to spell Glenelg backwards?

I for one wouldn't ever purchase a book written by Marin Hardie. I wonder what would it be advertised under....fiction?
