Glad to see lil old Sturt boy Marty Mattner has done enough to impress the Crows selectors to be named in the 25 man squad to play West Coast on Sunday.

He's been one of Sturts most consitent player, if not most consitent player all year. Hopefully he gets a chance to prove himself this weekend.

Thanks Blues_Girl. I have been getting big wraps on Mattner from a mate at work who is a Sturt & Crows supporter, so at least we are picking a guy in form. I get the impression he will only play though if Goody drops out of the team.

Personally I don't think he will make the final line-up but will be coming across with the team for the experience because the Blues have the bye.

I guess we'll find out on the weekend.

Hope he does play, will have to see if I can get a ticket now

He'll learn so much from this trip regardless of whether we win or lose. I think we'll be seeing him playing his first afl game soon!
