Brownlow Medallist
Royals v Thunder - first time the Thunder have had to travel and they would dearly love their AIS boys back, but not sure they will be. Although last week's performance was more heartening and the Royals were involved in a pretty dour battle themselves, this could be an interesting match.
The Royals need more out of their mids and younger players IMO, as Wulff and Pickering kept them in the game on Monday. JON needs to lift and get his hands dirty, Ben Noakes is good in patches, needs to put it together for a whole game, Clarke - same as B Noakes. Roberton and Shepheard were good for parts of the game on Monday and Shepheard, particularly, probably needs to be involved in more of the play. Merrington wasn't sighted much on Monday and whilst McKinley was good, he's one of those players that looks like they don't give a stuff.
Peel have had a very good half back line this year and if they lose Schofield out of that, there could be problems. If they lose Rosa, there are bigger problems. However, they have enough runners to take it up to East Perth, but can they?
