Demons v Tigers - typically the Demons can't beat the tigers, of late, but with the passing of club legend, Merv McIntosh, I sense a surge of the old redlegs passion!
Armstrong is out, as is Cook, which is a big loss and I didn't see Butler named, which is also a big loss, so how do they beat the tiges? The only way for them to is to run the tigers off their legs. So Young is going to have to lead the younger brigade of Sneeuwajt, Florio, Smith, Elari, Fiegert from the front.
Billings will have his hands full with Cones, Wilkes and Sibosado will be interesting, because as long as Sibo brings it to ground he should be too agile for Wilkes. McLernon will have his hands full with Richardson. Meanwhile McDougall, if he plays, will find a very good opponent in Thomson and Eades will possibly be followed by Mitchell, although wasting Mitchell's running efforts in the BP. Then there is Blackwell, Foster, Schammer, Ninyette, Murphy, Brabazon, Walton rotating through the midfield.
