Toast Matthew Kreuzer

Every #1 draft pick in the past five years has been supremely talented, whether it's Gibbs or Murphy, but in my opinion the best of them all has been our man, Matthew Kreuzer.

At least in my mind, there has never been a talent like him. His strength, mobility and skill make him one of my favourite players, and i don't think it'd be wrong to say that's a view shared by many others. He was brilliant this year, for a man who's 200cm and in only his 2nd year, to do what he did is a feat that definitely deserves recognition.

Whether he's booting goals or tapping the ball down to Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Brock and Russell next year is something i really can't wait to see.

Jack Watts is yet to prove himself but agree with your comments otherwise. He is a beauty our Kreuzer. Hope the club re-signs him sooner rather than later.

I agree with all these comments about Kreuzer.
He has been an amazing player for us ever since he debuted.
He works so hard each match and his second, even third and fourth efforts are great.
To see what he achieved in just his second year at the club, at the age of 20, makes you wonder, just how good this kid can be, and the future looks bright!
I cant wait to see how season 2010 goes for Matty

Amazingly talented footballer. Has the motor, and runs like a midfielder. During a drill today, it took Garlett to actually run him down!

My prediction/feeling...Kruuuuueze is beginning to fill the void left by Fev as our most popular player...He has a following now but wait till midway through the year when he is murdering everyone and booting goals...it will be huge!

Fev is tough to replace in the popularity stakes but I think the big fella will certainly be there abouts.

Kreuzer would have to be one of the best trainers at the club, and he hasn't put a foot wrong this Summer. It's always hard to seperate our No.1 picks, but Kreuzer could be something very very special.

Whilst I have always been a firm believer that Gibbs would be our best number 1 pick, Kruezer may change this. I think Gibbs has the ability to be come a top 10 player in the AFL, Kruezer could become something we havnt seen before. Exciting times ahead.
