With my forward line almost complete I will be bringing in one more premium in the coming weeks and listening to the radio today I heard Knights talking about Lloyd playing up the ground for the rest of the year. Could this be a kind of 'Richo' re-invention? @ $406k (down $100k for the season) Lloydy should continue to produce high scores which has me seriously considering him as he could save me a fair bit of cash to spend elsewhere. My only concern at this stage is his body, in particular his hamstrings. which in reality is actually a major concern.

Will be interesting to see how Lucas goes in the coming weeks too.

What do you guys think?

I'd look at Lucas first. Less likely to get isolated and more of a natural ball-winner.

He doesnt have the same tank (am i allowed to use that word?) as Richo does nor the ability to take contested marks, to Richos extent anyway.

i think he has bottomed out and now is the time to get him, if any. its good to know that he can now make a very decent score only kicking 2 goals.
similar case to brad johnson, both have shown signs of good form at cheap prices

lloyd in the middle will get alot of SC points - uses the ball very well.. looks like he is finding some good form too, hard decision this week.

Was also considering him after I heard he was going to play more up the ground. Agree he does not have the richo tank and is more injury prone.

Would be a risk, but could pay off. At least now if he gets shut down in the fwd line, there is an alternatve to push him up the ground.

Also if your thinking ahead to finals in your league, Lloyd has a reasonable run home with Eagles, Crows, Dogs, Saints.

See how Llyod performs against some more quality sides. Big scores have only come against Eagles and Blues.

Essendon's draw for the remainder of the year. The only one of those that is really likely to limit Lloyd's score from here might be the Adelaide defense. We otherwise play rivals we are likely to lift against, unaccountable midfields, and teams lacking an ideal matchup.

To my mind, Lloyd would be worth it from here.

Strange really, I've been cursing him through the first half of the year for his inconsistency. Now, I'm reasonably happy with him. Gives my team a bit of X factor. Even Nicoski might reach a value that makes him tradable soon, wonders will never cease.

mate your forgetting hudghton he toweled him up last time
and if he moves up the ground sam fisher could go with him
last time fisher did that he kept pavlich to a goal and 7 possies after he had 4 goals in the opening half and if we didnt keep him quiet we would have lost

Quite happy with Lloyd picked him up after Lucas went down earlier in the season started off pretty average but glad I kept him.
