You would think it has to be Laycock. I know Bradley is also available, but with his body still taking shape it might be better if Laycock came in. Good chance for Laycock to show us Ess supporters that he can make the step from VFL to AFL. Still stranger things have happened with Sheeds way of thinking, who knows he might end up bringing in Sam Hunt instead!

P.S Thank God Henneman is not available!

i get the impression henneman is sheedy's full back project...and why wouldn't he be...with his poise and ability to handle tight situations :\

Hunt will never get a go especially for a backup ruckman position. Laycock would seem to be the most likely suspect to fill in the role however because we are getting up to three senior players back this week he probably wont get the spot (same argument for bradley). This leaves bolton to fill the role :S

Agreed.

He totally starred on Sunday, but, wasn't the only reason behind the very handy win over Frankston. Bullen, Mercuri, Walsh, Winderlich, Bradley amongst the rest played awesome footy.

Robert Shaw on SEN last night said that Laycock/Bradley would get his vote at selection, although his is only one of five.

Great opportunity for Laycock or Bradley to get a month of footy under their belt.

What impressed me about Laycock's game on Sunday was he took the marks he has been dropping most of the year, which is probably the main reason why hadn't been selected to this point.

He played with confidence, something that has lacked in his game since early in the year. Whether he gets promoted or not it would be nice to see him keep that form.
