I like this team better

Van Exel
J-Rich
Dunleavy
Murphy
Dampier

Jamison can only score, poor defender for a SF, not a good passer... Dunleavy isnt as good scorer but hes a pretty good defender and his Ball IQ is off the charts... hes going to be handling alot of the rock, and Van Exel can play off the ball alot and make the most of his awesome shooting.

You_idiot I think you guys made a smart move, even though yous took on Eschmeyers contract, though hes a solid bench guy if you give him the minutes, so its not all that bad.

For Dallas Fortson could be the big acquisition if he dedicates himself to D and rebounding. He is the type of guy that can pull double doubles without trying. Jamison fits the scoring mould they base their team on

The Mavericks also got Danny Fortson, Jiri Welsch and Chris Mills from the Warriors for Nick Van Exel, Avery Johnson, Evan Eschmeyer, Popeye Jones and Antoine Rigadeau.

yessssssssssssss!!! :D

Warriors have just shot them selves in the foot, silly silly trade to what was a preety settles line up.
Good work by Mav admin!!!

I think the trade was a mistake and I think the Mavericks did it out of desperation. They saw the Lakers, Kings, and Spurs making moves, upgrading their respective teams and they felt they had to do something to keep up. IMO it wasnt needed. What was needed was a smaller trade to get some defence and strength on the inside. They got neither.

Not a bad move, or a good move, just pointless IMO. Warriors did well though.

I dont know how credible the source is, and its only a snippet from here..

Seeing that it's from the online version of the daily paper in Memphis, I'd say it's a credible source. Unfortunately so, however... :(

Would like to see some other proof, though, such as in any of the Bay Area papers (such as the San Jose Mercury-News, San Francisco Chronicle, Oakland Tribune, or so forth) before I can take this as gospel.
