This will not happen. Mayne not once took his eyes off the ball and very nearly got to the contest in time to snap up the mark. Waters shouldn't have backed into the contest if he didn't want to get hit. Respect for the courage shown to do so, but that was always going to be risky and as it turned out, he copped it.Will probably get a rest for the next few weeks for his hit on Waters anyway.
As far as Mayne's game goes, he was always going to struggle against Glass. I was disappointed in him dropping a couple of relatively get-able marks in the square though... He seems to put too much pressure on himself maybe?
