McGregor got 2, won't know anything else until the paper in the morning I guess. Nothing on the Tiser or SANFL sites.

Thanks SAPaul. I was also wondering if Bernie Vince had a decent hit out. I can't see him coming back in given no injuries from this weekend, but some depth is handy given we were almost out of players for awhile there......

(This is what I posted on SAFooty.net)

McGregor: He was in the forward line to start with, along with Passador and Grocke. They were all swamped by 3 or 4 extra Sturt players in the first quarter when the ball came down there, McGregor was double teamed each time, but he did take a mark, played on and kicked one from 40. McGregor had trouble with the sun in his eyes a couple of times in that quarter. His other goal came as the recipient of a downfield free kick in the 2nd.

He got more of the ball and looked better in the last half at Centre Half Back, carried the ball a few times and kicked well.

Vince didn't get too much of the ball, but he went ok for what he did.

McGregor made the most of his limited opportunities and snagged 2 goals. Was beaten quite a few times and as spell_check said, had to contend with an extra couple of Sturt defenders playing back.

His second half was a lot better from CHB. He provided some good run. I thought he may have done his hammy just before 3 quarter time when he delivered a nice pass to our leading forward as he pulled up quickly and grabbed at his hammy. He did however complete the full game so it may have just been a slight twinge he felt.

Vince was very average. Had no impact on the game and looks to still be making his way back into fitness. Would not surprise me if he was dropped to reserves with a couple of Eagles league players to come back into the side for the Semi Final in a couple of weeks.

I don't think Vince will play for the Crows again this year. I don't think the Crows will be needing McGregor either, unless a key position player gets an injury for the Prelim or GF if the Crows make it. McGregor would have to come in for either Perrie or Stevens and both of these players have done well.

McGregor was serviceable at best.

Quiet up forward and got beaten on the lead a few times in defence

Vince was quiet.

Eagles were only in front at three quarter time due to Sturt ill discipline and bad kicking for goal, not to mention the umpiring.
