The Fremantle Dockers have confirmed former Essendon defender Adam McPhee will commence training with the Fremantle squad from next week.

McPhee is expected to join Fremantle’s training session at Santich Park, Munster, tomorrow morning.

It's just around the corner, so I may head down there and have a look in the morning.

Don't know anything about Santich but it is definately a good idea to train on a surface similar to Etihad (slippery, concrete) and/or similar dimmensions to Etihad as we have all our Melbourne games there and we, so far, are not very adapt at it.Maybe this is the reasoning.

probably old news but C7 tonight reported McPhees 3 years at the dockers will be worth $1 million.

I am not 100% sure but I heard that he was given the same money as he was on at Essendon but was given the extra year. Could the extra year possibly pushed him over the $1 million mark?

Kids Christmas party was on today at Freo Oval,surface will need to be cleaned up before they can train on it again.

That is pretty close to average wage I would think.

Warnock is making more than that - so on a per game basis* it is pretty good value.

There will be plenty of feeling in the Easter Sunday clash as it has been billed the "McFlee Cup", after Adam McPhee's defection to Fremantle.

Essendon seem to be taking this awfully hard considering (according to their fans on here) McPhee is a useless crab that we are going to regret ever recruiting...

Yep...... It's a shame they have to let go of such an important and key "crab" from their list.... that same crab that rejected the 2 year offer they had to keep him.

I just re-watched the 2009 ANZAC Day game over the weekend and McPhee would have easily been in Essendon's best 5 players. He was absolutely pivotal in how they moved the ball out of defence and will leave a pretty big hole in their team I reckon.
